HISTORY

The F.A.C. Foundation was founded in the city of Rosario in 1991.- The founders were the ex Presidents of the Cardiology Society of Rosario.

It is a private, non goverment and non profit organisation related to the Argentine Federation of Cardiology, with Legal Function and position of agent granted by Resolution 011-92 I.G.P.J. of the Office of the public prosecutor of State of the Province of Santa Fe, Argentine Republic.

Thirty-three Federated Societies are members the Argentine Federation of Cardiology distributed all over our extensive country.- Therefore to make the action of the Foundation more fluent, seven Regional Delegation were created:

OBJECTIVES OF F.A.C. FOUNDATION

Promote postgrade formation in Cardiology thougth the award of scholarship
Promote and support scientific studies and scientific investigations which tend to control and prevent cardiovascular disease
Promote sanitary education of the population for the best knowledge of prevention and early diagnosis of cardiovascular disease
Sponsor and finance professionals of acknowledged performance, national or foreign to dictate Courses, Symposia or Lectures.
Contribute to the purchase of books, journals, videocassettes and bibliographic material of cardiology orientation for the achievement of a library in the cardiology
Sponsor trips of professionals to attend Congresses, Symposia and Courses to be held in our country or abroad
Collaborate with sanitary authorities in everything connected with the prevention of cardiovascular disease
